Would a necklace be too "much"? And my main question, what kind of earrings? I prefer dangly types, but I found these (http://www.antiquejewelryforsale.com/viewProduct-388-PLATINUM_DIAMOND_AND_PEARL_EARRINGS.html) and I am not sure which would work better for the style of the dress. I prefer an understated look when it comes to jewelry.

I love antiques, statues, etc. I am visiting India next year, if I buy a piece of Ivory can I take it out of India and get it into the United States?
Another question, I saw somewhere on the internet you can only take a certain amount of gifts out of India 0.00, is this correct? Or is it that if I buy my daughter a gold bracelet, I just have to pay the Tarif tax, if it is over that amount?

hmmm well I think with the front of your dress and the dangly earrings (which are both gorgeous by the way) a necklace might draw away from both.
i like them a lot. i respect what poster #1 said, but i think i would do it.

I’d go with the dangly earrings on the faycullen site. If you notice, the model on the picture of your dress is wearing dangly earrings and it looks beautiful.
Skip the necklace – you’d need something relatively heavy to match the earrings and that would be too heavy for the dress.
Stunning! All around beautiful and the earrings go great. If you do wear a necklace keep it very dainty and simple so that you dont overwhelm everything You want people starring at how beautiful you are and not just your attire! Congratulations!

The second link doesn’t work but I don’t think you need a necklace. The earrings you chose would be a perfect match.
I like your dress and your jewlery ideas. I would say if you go for the dangling earings (Very beautiful) I would go for a smaller necklace that doesn’t hang so low and draw so much attention. However, if you find a bigger elegant necklace that kind of hangs lower, I would wear the stud earings. You want them to compliment eachother so they compliment the dress. If you do both the dangling earings and a necklace that hangs lower it will draw away from the dress. Good luck! I’m getting married in 2010. How are you doing your hair for the day? It could be the deciding factor in what earrings you choose. (maybe?) In my opinion sometimes with an up do dangly earrings look odd. Especially on me because I have dumbo ears. But I know how annoying they can get with your hair down getting tangled up.
However maybe if you had like a partial updo…I tried to find a picture of what I have in my head:

Something like that with the hair coming down in the front and back. I think it would look really pretty with the dangly earrings.
I’d really have to know what type of necklace. If you go with the other pair of earrings maybe a simple strand of pearls? I don’t think that would be too much or take away from the dress.
I’d go with the Art Deco earrings and no necklace.
