Gold Wedding Band Hallmarks
Friday, November 24, 2006 0:02 No CommentsQuestion: I have found a gold wedding band which has a symbol I have never seen.
It has a deeply cut blackened background which is shaped like an open tablet with legs for lack of better term to describe, straight on both sides with two legs, rounded on the top.
Inside from left to right there is a slightly slanted star, then a small capital “B”, then a larger “K”.
There is no other marking as to karat weight on this ring.
Is this a manufacturer’s mark, and if so for what manufacturer? How old?
