While we can categorize silver into three main groups, there is really only one which we need to be aware of in Jewelry.
Silver Plate.
The other two groups are....
- Sheffield Plate
- Electroplate
Both of these are very common in Antique Silverware, but are of little interest when it comes to Jewelry, unlike Silver Plate.
