After Queen Victoria took the throne, Britain became a centre for Jewelry, outpacing France.

The Queen herself loved Jewelry and wore it constantly.

The Industrial revolution increased the general wealth of the population and the 'Mass Production' techniques soon embraced Jewelry.

Jewelry during the First part of Queen Victoria's reign was delicate, and mirrored designs from the middle ages.
