Is This A British Hallmark Question: I recently found a gold ring in my attic and I was wondering if you could tell me how old it is from the hallmark.

The hallmark is:

• HC&S in a box
• V in a box
• an anchor on its side
• .375 in a box
• 9

Makers make help. 70’s style gold ring with 8 diamonds and large garnet Question: Hi there.

I have an early style 1970’s ring. 18CT. The design is like lattice gold bars that have 8 small diamonds set in pairs and a central red garnet almost 1CM long.

On the inside of the band has “18CT” and on the opposite side has either:

• PAIsL
• FAisL

(the is “is” hard to read) engraved.

Question: I have a wedding ring which would be from the early to mid 1800’s (I believe).

Kovels’ American Silver Marks

The mark inside looks like a sideways M or W and a mark like this >H< (kinda like that) looks like a little tree or something.
